High Park Pitching Clinic

Each pitcher must bring their own catcher, catchers must be a least 14 years old and anyone under 18 must wear a mask. Catcher may be anyone who can catch a ball, no experience as a catcher needed. Pitchers please come prepared with comfortable clothing, indoor running shoes and a water bottle.

Each age category is open to both beginner and advanced pitchers. 

The cost is $100.00 for 8 sessions for each age categories. Clinic runs from Feb. 21 to Apr. 18, every Wednesday.

High Park Catching Clinic

We are excited to announce that Tom Clooney will once again be facilitating our catching camps for High Park Softball starting on Monday January 8th!

This is open to beginner and experienced catchers (position behind home plate). Please come prepared with catching equipment...chest protector, shin pads, mask and glove. Please also come with a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing and indoor running shoes.

You will learn to block low balls, frame the the pitch, throws to the bases, call the pitches, work on speed and more!

The cost is $80.00 for 8 sessions for each age categories. The clinic runs from Jan. 8 - Mar. 5 on Mondays.

Sherwood Park Minor Softball Fall/Winter 2017 Development Camp U10-U16

This Fall/Winter mini camp is great for all ages and abilities, you will be placed into groups at your level. We will be working on catching and throwing, infield, outfield and hitting with a focus on technique and development. Over the 3 weeks you will see an improvement.

December 3/17 -  2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
December 10/17 -  11:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.
December 17/17 - 11:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Sherwood Park Minor Softball Development Camps

Sherwood Park Minor Softball will be having Development Camps starting in February. These camps will be focused on all aspects of the game of softball.

Camp Details: The Development Camps will cover many skill sessions including throwing, catching, hitting, infield, outfield, base running, and overall game fundamentals. ​These camps will provide athletes with the opportunity to learn, practice, improve overall softball skills, and to be the best athlete in the game of softball.  the STORM Way.
These camps will be very cost affordable as our main goal is to have as many athletes as possible.

Rivercity Softball Catching Clinic

Hitz Okotoks

Hitz Okotoks is excited to announce the launch of Hitz Off-Season High Performance Softball Program. Hitz Softball is accepting 24 applications from those girls 14 to 18 years old that are looking to compete and be challenged daily in a High Performance enviornment. Applicants are to have played softball for at least 3 years and or at a Competitive (A) level. 

The program will take place each year beginning at the start of November and run til the end of February. It will run for 3 days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) from 4:30 to 6:30pm and include approximately 45 training sessions. Each week will consist of 2 softball skills days and 1 strength and conditioning type day set out by the trainers. Our highly qualified coaching staff will take the athletes through extensive training in a very competitive atmosphere thus making sure all athletes are pushed daily to become better individuals.

Athletes will be given the opportunity to spend numerous hours with their position specific coach allowing them to become an elite player at their position. Hitz athletes will also be exposed to lectures in relation to health, nutrition as well as proper maintenance and recovery of their bodies from time to time. Along side the coaching staff Hitz Softball also has a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Athletic Therapist and Nutrition Consultant that will work along with its coaches and athletes to better prepare Hitz Softball athletes.
